product name Famotidine

Description: Famotidine (also known as MK208) is a histamine H2–receptor antagonist with IC50 of 0.6 mM, it inhibits stomach acid production and therefore is commonly used to treat heartburn, GERD, ulcers, and other digestive conditions. Unlike cimetidine, the first H2 antagonist, famotidine has no effect on the cytochrome P450 enzyme system, and does not appear to interact with other drugs.
